Lanxin Zhao

Lanxin Zhao has a strong background in technical writing and program management. They started their career as a Program Manager at the China Academy of Electronics and Information Technology from April 2013 to July 2015. Following this, Lanxin worked as a Technical Writer at Beijing Teamsun technology Co,ltd from July 2015 to August 2017, where they primarily focused on drafting development documents, user manuals, and online web help documents. In August 2017, Lanxin joined Zuora as a Technical Writer and later transitioned into the role of Senior Technical Writer from May 2020 to May 2023. Currently, Lanxin holds the position of Developer Documentation Lead at Zuora, starting from May 2023.

Lanxin Zhao earned a Bachelor's degree (joint) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen Mary University of London in 2007-2011. During the same period, they also attended Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication Engineering with Management. Later, in 2011-2012, they attended the University of Southampton and obtained a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems, General. Apart from their formal education, Lanxin Zhao has acquired additional certifications, including CCNA from Cisco in April 2015 and Introduction to Project Management Principles and Practices from UC Irvine in September 2019. Lanxin also completed Introduction to Financial Accounting from the University of Pennsylvania in September 2018 and More Introduction to Financial Accounting in November 2018, although the institution for the latter certification is unspecified.
