Norman R.

Norman R. has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2013 as a Front-End Developer at Prodigious Latin America. During their time there, they developed a full-featured mobile-first snackbar, built complex mobile-first UIs, and developed multiple components for a single-page application.

In 2016, they moved on to 18Techs where they served as a Full-stack Developer. Their responsibilities included Front-End development for a fitness app that connected to Bluetooth devices, developing modules for a POS desktop application using Angular, and building interactive graphics using D3.

Norman then joined Talkpush in 2018 as a Mobile Developer, focusing on the Front-End development of a chat app for iOS and Android. Norman integrated RESTful APIs using Redux and Redux Sagas, and implemented a full-featured chat module using Gifted Chat and Pusher Beams.

In 2019, they joined Narvar as a Full-stack Developer, where they developed components and views for an interactive Shopify App, set up a theme using MUI's Theme API, and implemented a strategy to integrate a MUI application in the Shopify checkout flow without using iframes.

Norman's next role was at SAC: Salud a un Clic, where they served as a Mobile Developer. Norman was responsible for the development life cycle of a healthcare mobile application, integrated Bluetooth devices, and handled the architecture needed for BLE integration.

Moving to Wondersauce in 2020, Norman became a Full-stack Developer. Norman refactored a RESTful API to achieve code reusability and data validation, developed and supported multiple components and views for a multi-level marketing network platform using React and MUI.

In 2021, they joined Meenta Inc. as a Full-stack Developer. There, they implemented a micro-service to synchronize data between a Firebase app and a WordPress WooCommerce app using RabbitMQ, and implemented routes for a REST API using Node.js and Express.

Norman's most recent experience was at nerami.dev as a Full-stack Developer. Norman was responsible for the development of new features for a sports betting platform using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Contentful. Norman also built components and views for an NFT Marketplace using Next.js.

Currently, Norman works as a Software Engineer at Zuora, starting in 2023.

Norman R. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Cenfotec between 2012 and 2013. Prior to this, they obtained a Diploma of Education in Web Development from Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje, which they completed from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Norman R. obtained a certification in Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) from ProTrainings in December 2021.
