Rui Yang

Rui Yang's work experience starts with their current position as a Software Engineer at Zuora. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer 2, where they developed synthetic workflows and collaborated with teams on designing node locking features. Rui also worked as a Software Engineer at Benchmark Education Company, where they developed and enhanced internal applications and wrote feature documentations. Rui Yang also served as a Digital Content/XML Specialist at Triumph Learning, where they built and maintained automated tools. Rui worked as a Research Associate on Web Application Development at Syracuse University, where they designed database schemas and implemented application logic. Rui Yang also has experience as a Co-op Software Developer at Greenview Energy Management Systems, where they retrieved and preprocessed metadata and validated predictive models. Rui started their career as a Software Test Intern at North China Institute of Computing Technology, China Electronic Technology Group Co., Ltd., where they assisted in designing test procedures and set up test environments.

Rui Yang completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, which they attended from 2008 to 2012. Rui then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Syracuse University, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. In terms of additional certifications, Rui obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2021, followed by the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification in October 2021. Furthermore, in December 2014, Rui completed the M101P: MongoDB for Python Developers certification offered by MongoDB, Inc.
