Shelly Tomar

Shelly Tomar has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Shelly started their career in 2008 as an Associate Engineer - Data Protection at CSC, where they worked until 2011. Shelly then joined Tech Mahindra Business Services as a Senior System Engineer from 2011 to 2013. Following that, Shelly worked at IBM as a Senior Engineer from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, they served as a Software Engineer Intern at SleepIQ LABS. Shelly then joined Zephyr in 2017 as a Product Support Engineer until 2018. Currently, Shelly is employed at Zuora, where they began as an Application Support Engineer in 2018 and progressed to more high-level roles such as Senior Application Support Engineer, Principal Application Support Engineer, and Technical Support Manager.

Shelly Tomar completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering with a specialization in Mobile and Cloud Computing from San Jose State University, from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning. Shelly also holds a Bachelor of Science in IT degree from GGDSD College, Chandigarh, where they studied Physics, Maths, and IT. Shelly completed their high school education at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sector 31 Chandigarh.

In addition to their formal education, Shelly has also obtained various certifications. Shelly is a Zuora-Certified Administrator, certified by Zuora in May 2018. Shelly holds the Sun Certified System Administrator for Solaris 10OS certification obtained from Oracle in August 2010. Shelly is also certified in IT Service Management Foundation (ITIL V3) from ITIL Certified, obtained in June 2010. Shelly received the Data Protection Administration for UNIX using NetBackup 6.5 certification from Symantec in June 2009.
