Sumeet C.

Sumeet C. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. They began their career in 2007 as a Java Developer at the New York State Education Department, where they designed prototypes and worked on the presentation layer of client websites. In 2009, they transitioned to the role of Java Web Developer at the New York State School Boards Association, where they performed rapid prototyping, customized Joomla solutions, and designed and installed architecture for video content.

In 2011, Sumeet joined GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Software Configuration Manager, where they automated the build and deployment process and handled multiple applications for the build and release process. After that, they joined Majesco in 2013 as a Software Configuration Manager/DevOps, where they provided technical support, conducted risk assessments, and served as Scrum Master for continuous development and integration projects.

In 2017, Sumeet moved on to BetterCloud as a Platform Services Engineer/DevOps Engineer, where they built and created tools, scripts, and operating procedures for continuous service improvements. They also responded to system emergencies and maintained production systems and applications.

Currently, Sumeet is working at Zuora as a Principal Software/DevOps Engineer, a role they started in February 2022. In this position, they are responsible for leading DevOps engineering, AWS architecture, and continuous integration and deployments for a logging solution. They have built expertise in various tools and technologies including AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Apache Nifi, and Gitlab.

Sumeet C. received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, Vidyavihar, from 2002-2006. Following this, Sumeet pursued a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from The College of Saint Rose from 2007-2009.
