Gilson Gonçalves

Gilson Gonçalves is an experienced professional in product design, currently serving as the Head of Product Design at Zup Innovation since December 2013. In this role, Gilson is responsible for structuring and overseeing design teams with various profiles, collaborating closely with Product Managers and Tech Leads to define product strategies. Previously, Gilson was the Head of Design for the Santander Way app at Banco Santander from January 2016 to April 2020, where expertise in mobile platforms and user experience was leveraged. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Digital Designer at Grupo Algar from February 2004 to June 2008, focusing on research and development of new digital products. Gilson holds a Lato Sensu postgraduate degree in User Experience Design from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul and a postgraduate degree in Multimedia Design from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi.
