Dan Becker

Dan Becker serves as the Managing Director of Access Biotechnology at Access Industries since August 2019, focusing on biopharma investments across various therapeutic areas and development stages. Becker holds board member positions at Zura Bio Limited, ACELYRIN, INC., Mariana Oncology, Day One Biopharmaceuticals, DTx Pharma, and Pandion Therapeutics, with notable contributions to IPOs and significant acquisitions by major pharmaceutical companies. Previous experience includes roles as Principal at New Leaf Venture Partners and The Boston Consulting Group, where Becker specialized in healthcare and pharmaceutical R&D. Dan Becker holds an MD from the University of Michigan Medical School, a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Physiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
