Founded in 1978 by current President, Architect Ronald Zürcher, Zürcher Arquitectos has more than 1.750.000 square meters of built projects in over 17 countries. The company has a team of over 50 highly qualified collaborators, Zürcher Arquitectos works with excellent experienced consultants. With a serious commitment to quality design and social responsibility, Zürcher has designed many projects of different scale and complexity. Often inspired by nature, our projects’ concepts respond directly to their surroundings.

 
Over the years, the practice has evolved to include major hospitality design projects, as well as  high-end residential and commercial projects. In Hospitality Design, one of our strongest areas of expertise, Zürcher Arquitectos’ experience includes projects such as Four Seasons Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo, Andaz Peninsula Papagayo, Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya, W Costa Rica - Reserva Conchal, El Mangroove Hotel, JW Marriott Panama Golf and Beach Resort, among other brands of hotels. Our projects include hotels with chains like Hilton Hotels, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts (Andaz & Hyatt Place), Enjoy Group, Exclusive Resorts, Grupo Islita Hotels, Bristol Hotels, Rosewood Hotels, and Marriott Hotel brands (Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, Luxury Collection, JW Marriott, Marriott, Courtyard, Residence Inn, and Fairfield Inn).

Furthermore, the company has experience in developing LEED certified projects. Our services include a broad line of capabilities such as master planning, architectural design, *interior architecture, construction documents, technical specification, construction supervision, and *landscape design.
