David Young is an experienced professional in program and operations management, currently serving as the Senior Director of Program & Operations at Zwift since December 2019. In this role, David oversees a team responsible for the development and maintenance of innovative hardware products for the Zwift online fitness application. Prior to Zwift, David held the position of Programme Manager for Hybrid & Electric Drive at McLaren Applied Technologies, leading projects in Formula 1 and other motorsport initiatives. David's experience also includes managing product introductions at GE Oil & Gas and serving as a Product Program Manager at Nokia, where David successfully delivered the first QWERTY + Touch smartphone. David's career began in various engineering roles at Nokia and Nokia Japan KK. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.
