Lawrence Dubowitz

Lawrence Dubowitz has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lawrence currently works as a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer at ZYMBIT since January 2023. Before that, Lawrence was the Founder of Digitrael from May 2020 to December 2022.

Lawrence also had their own businesses. Lawrence was the Owner of CADGenie from May 2013 to May 2020, where they provided Rhinoceros 3D CAD training and scripting services to various industries. Lawrence conducted training seminars in South Africa and assisted with co-authoring the online certification examinations for McNeel Rhinoceros 3D CAD.

From January 2012 to May 2020, Lawrence was the Owner of KittiCraft®, a designer pet furniture company. Lawrence handled product design, manufacturing, sales, and marketing. Lawrence also developed Python scripts and Grasshopper definitions to improve the efficiency of product design using Rhinoceros 3D CAD.

Before that, Lawrence owned RotaCraft from January 2005 to January 2012. At RotaCraft, they focused on research and development as well as product design and manufacturing. The company specialized in designing a smart prosthetic knee and offered various CAD/CAM and fabrication services.

Lawrence also co-founded The Hobby Bug.com, an online hobby store, from July 2009 to January 2011. Lawrence was responsible for product design, manufacturing, eCommerce, and procurement. The business aimed to revive the scratch-built model aircraft market and offered CAD/CAM design and fabrication services.

Lastly, Lawrence was the Founder of Nexrealm from January 1999 to June 2004. Nexrealm developed a computer security software product called CLAM, which implemented neural networks and machine learning algorithms for multi-factor authentication based on key-stroke dynamics.

Lawrence Dubowitz is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Creative Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London. Lawrence began their studies in 2017 and is expected to complete their degree in 2024. Prior to their university education, Lawrence obtained their High School Degree from Eden College, where they attended from 1994 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Lawrence has also obtained several certifications. Lawrence obtained a Day Skipper certification from South African Sailing in October 2020. Lawrence also achieved a GCSE A Level Mathematics certification from Cambridge International Examinations in November 2014. Furthermore, Lawrence is a Certified Rhinoceros CAD Trainer, although specific details regarding the institution and year of obtaining this certification are not available.
