Bijal Desai

Bijal Desai serves as the VP of Finance & Strategy at Zymeworks Inc. since May 2020, having previously held positions as Executive Director of FP&A and Corporate Finance, and Sr. Director of R&D Finance. Currently a Board Member of the HBA Seattle Chapter, Bijal's prior experience includes roles such as Head of FP&A at Lyell Immunopharma and Director of FP&A at Alder BioPharmaceuticals, Inc. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from Texas A&M University, attained between 2003 and 2005. Expertise encompasses long-range project forecasting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and contract analysis.
