Research Associate Ii, Bioconjugation at Zymeworks

Elizabeth Porter is a Research Associate II in Bioconjugation at Zymeworks Inc. since May 2021, focusing on the conjugation, purification, and characterization of antibody drug conjugates for various projects. Previously, Elizabeth held positions as Research Associate I in Bioconjugation and Protein Engineering, responsible for recombinant antibody purification and quality control. Elizabeth gained experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of British Columbia's Huan Lab, where the focus was on amino acid characterization using HPLC-UV. Earlier research experience includes a co-op as a Research Assistant at McGill University's Schmeing Lab, volunteer work at Withers Lab, and a Process Development co-op at STEMCELL Technologies. Elizabeth also completed an NSERC USRA research opportunity at the Alberta Glycomics Centre. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from the University of British Columbia.
