Geoff Winters

Geoff Winters has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Director and Functional Lead of Chemistry and Conjugation Process Development at Zymeworks Inc. since March 2016. Previous roles at Zymeworks include Associate Director and Functional Lead for ADC Process and Analytical Development, as well as Principal and Senior Scientist in Discovery Chemistry. Prior to Zymeworks, Geoff held the position of Senior Scientist, Discovery Chemistry and CMC Lead at Kairos Therapeutics, where responsibilities included managing new research initiatives and overseeing supply chains for preclinical and clinical materials. At the Centre for Drug Research and Development, Geoff served as a Scientist, supervising multiple reports and developing an internal ADC platform. Early career experiences at QLT Inc. and Anadys Pharmaceuticals involved compound library synthesis and natural product derivitization. Geoff holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry and a Project Management Diploma from Simon Fraser University.
