Kara Gorman

Kara Gorman is currently a Bioinformatics Senior Analyst at Zymeworks Inc., where they apply their extensive data analysis skills. Previously, Kara worked as a Biostatistics Data Analyst III at NanoString Technologies, overseeing comprehensive data analysis and collaborating with scientists on immuno-oncology and neurology research. Kara interned as a graduate student at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, where they identified glioblastoma subtypes based on drug response data. They also gained experience as an Analyst Intern at UBS Financial Services. Kara holds a Master of Science in Mathematical Biology from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
