Lawrence Lee

Lawrence Lee is a seasoned professional in quality assurance and compliance, currently serving as the Director of GMP Quality Assurance at Zymeworks Inc. since May 2020, overseeing a diverse team responsible for quality management systems and compliance operations. Prior to this role, Lawrence held the position of Associate Director of Quality Compliance at Zymeworks, managing audits and supplier quality programs. Lawrence's background includes significant experience at Amgen as Principal of Corporate Quality Compliance and as a Drug Investigator with the FDA, focusing on compliance with manufacturing standards. Additionally, Lawrence has a solid foundation in biomedical research, having worked as a Research Fellow at Seattle Children's and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Infectious Disease Research, after earning a Ph.D. in Immunology from UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. Lawrence also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Washington.
