Luying Yang

Luying Yang is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as the Senior Scientist and Analytics Group Lead at Zymeworks Inc. since September 2021, where leadership of a 9-member team focuses on therapeutic protein characterization and stability assessments. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Research Investigator at BeiGene, providing analytical strategies for clinical projects and leading method development, and as Scientist I at Carmot Therapeutics, where expertise was applied in Mass Spectrometry methods. Early career stages involved contributions as an Associate Scientist and Graduate Research Assistant at Rutgers University, where Luying Yang earned a PhD in Biochemistry and also a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Wuhan University.
