Maggie Ling is a Research Associate II at Zymeworks Inc., focusing on protein engineering since May 2023. Previously, Maggie completed a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at The University of British Columbia, where involvement in the Howe lab included studying the human MECP2 as a chromatin regulator in neurons from September 2020 to April 2023. Prior academic experiences include an Honours Thesis on identifying autoantibodies against coagulation factor XIII in patient plasma samples at the Kastrup lab (September 2019 - April 2020), and various co-op positions at BC Cancer and Amgen, where research included hematopoietic stem cell development and antibody characterization. Maggie holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Honours) from The University of British Columbia, earned from 2015 to 2020.
