Michael Brant

Michael Brant is a seasoned scientist in the field of medicinal chemistry, currently working at Zymeworks Inc. since April 2017. At Zymeworks, Michael holds the positions of Scientist focused on ADC Therapeutic Development and previously served as Associate Scientist in Discovery Research. Prior to this role, Michael was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University Health Network from September 2015 to February 2017, where research involved designing and synthesizing small-molecule IDO1 inhibitors under the mentorship of Dr. Donald Weaver. Michael completed a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the University of Victoria from 2009 to 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the same institution completed in 2009.
