Siran Cao

Siran Cao is an experienced professional in the fields of computational biology and protein engineering, currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Zymeworks Inc. since January 2021. Previous roles include a Scientist position at Sanofi, specializing in pre-clinical research for drug candidates in Oncology and Immunology, and a Graduate Research Assistant at Tufts University focusing on developing graphene-based microfluidic biosensors. Earlier experiences also include conducting research on mitochondrial dysfunction in ALS at the University of Miami and serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. Siran Cao holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University and several certifications in Data Science and Bioinformatics from The Johns Hopkins University and UC San Diego.
