Jonathan Chen

Jonathan Chen began their work experience in 2013 as a Peer Leader for the UC Davis Department of Chemistry. In 2014, they became a Chemistry Tutor for the UC Davis Student Academic Success Center. In 2015, they were a Lab Assistant for the Athanasiou Lab at University of California, Davis, and also a Team Lead - Molecular Biology for the UC Davis iGEM (International Genetically Engineering Machine Competition). In 2016, they were a Writer, Editor for BMESsenger, and an Undergraduate Student Researcher for the TEAM Molecular Prototyping and Bio-Innovation Laboratory. In 2017, they were a Manufacturing Associate for BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. Finally, in 2020, they became a Senior Laboratory Technical Supervisor - Services and a Laboratory Technical Supervisor - Epigenetics Services for Zymo Research Corp.

Jonathan Chen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2016. Additionally, they hold an edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python.
