Coca-Cola Selects New Foundation President

The Coca-Cola Company has named Saadia Madsbjerg as its VP of Global Community Affairs and President of The Coca-Cola Foundation.

The Coca-Cola Company has named Saadia Madsbjerg as its VP of Global Community Affairs and President of The Coca-Cola Foundation. She is expected to join the company June 1.

In her new role, she will manage operations of the foundation including grant making, financial requirements and regulatory compliance for domestic and international philanthropy.

Coca-Cola’s Chief Communications, Sustainability & Strategic Partnerships Officer Bea Perez stated, “Saadia brings years of experience in corporate strategy and philanthropy, as well as in launching and leading sustainable, impact investing programs across public and private sectors to address challenges such as climate change, inequality and humanitarian crises.”

Madsbjerg is a former managing director of The Rockefeller Foundation. Before that she was SVP for Strategic Planning at the New York City Economic Development Corp and worked at Cisco Systems, advising Fortune 500 companies and public sector institutions. She also spent time as an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Co., where she advised multinational companies on corporate strategy.
