Toshiba Appoints New CFO for its Retail Solutions Business

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions announced Monday that it will appoint Joy Hopkins as its Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Hopkins joins the retail technology company with 20 years experience working in strategic planning in corporate, legal and nonprofit sectors. She also has an extensive background working in high-growth technology sectors across hardware, software and service offerings.

In this role, Hopkins will be responsible for contributing to accelerating the company as a leader for solutions in retail technology.

Hopkins has hefty experience working at innovative technology companies and high-profile businesses. She previously worked as CFO for Lenovo, where she oversaw the new Commerical Internet of Things division. She also held several senior finance leadership positions at Intel. She’s regarded as an expert in change management and process excellence methodologies.
