Former Shopify executive Tyler Nemiro is joining Fabric as its new VP of Enterprise Sales. The hire comes after the startup raised $43M in Series A funding in February.

Prior to joining Fabric, Nemiro spent over two years as the Director of Enterprise Sales at Shopify and a year and a half as a Senior Account Executive. He has also spent over six years at Adobe Commerce, where he held the titles of Territory Sales Manager and Enterprise Account Manager.

"Commerce brands are clamoring for better technology to meet ever-increasing customer demand in the Amazon era. Legacy platforms are failing growing brands. Tyler has seen this first hand, and he will be instrumental to fueling our next phase of growth" Faisal Masud, CEO of Fabric said in a press release.

Nemorio is the latest industry veteran to join the commerce platform. Earlier this year the company hired Umer Sadiq, an Amazon executive, as CTO and Morgan Dollard, a founding team member of Google Stadia, as its SVP of Product.

"There is a huge demand for modern, modular, and flexible tools that are purpose-built for commerce brands. While modern SaaS platforms have made big strides to meet these demands, their technical interdependencies limit the scalability and flexibility brands need to grow their business." Nemiro said. "I am excited to join a team with unmatched industry experience and start selling a headless commerce platform that can truly scale growth for brands."
