In her new role, Dalal will head the company’s data engineering functions and continue to build out a team of data engineers and analysts at the AI-driven tech startup that aims to eliminate food waste by creating solutions within the fresh food supply chain
Afresh announced July 29 that it appointed Bosky Dalal as Director of Data Engineering, effective immediately.
In her new role, Dalal will head the company’s data engineering functions and continue to build out a team of data engineers and analysts at the AI-driven tech startup that aims to eliminate food waste by creating solutions within the fresh food supply chain.
She most recently worked as a VP at Mastercard following the company’s acquisition of Applied Predictive Technologies. Dalal handled over 30 accounts in that role, managing enterprise-level clients with large data sets across multiple industries, including grocery.
Dalal joins a growing leadership team at Afresh, which recently brought on Jenna Wills as VP of People. The startup has doubled in size to more than 50 employees in the last year and says it plans to double its size again by the end of this year.
"As Afresh continues to scale, and quickly, it's critical we add seasoned, mission-driven technical leaders to our organization. Bosky's deep experience at Mastercard and APT will enable us to establish best practices in scaling data at Afresh," said CEO Matt Schwartz. "We're so thrilled for her to join – as we got to know Bosky, we came to appreciate her significant skillset and alignment with our mission to eliminate food waste and make fresh food accessible to all."
