CloudBees has selected Audrey Zhao as its new CFO to oversee the enterprise software delivery company’s accounting, business operations, financial planning and analysis, legal, and procurement organizations.
Zhao, who joins CloudBees from Cloudera, will report directly to CEO Stephen DeWitt and also work to advance the 11-year-old company’s operational maturity and financial acumen.
In her recent stint at Cloudera, Zhao served as the company’s SVP of Finance and helped create repeatable and scalable forecasting and planning processes for Cloudera, a startup to a world-class finance organization. She also helped guide it through its IPO, merger with Hortonworks, and acquisition by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice and KKR. Zhao also held senior roles at SugarCRM, Chegg, PayPal, and PRTM Management Consulting.
“As we look toward the future of CloudBees, it’s critical that we have the right team in place to accelerate our growth and deliver on our vision of empowering enterprises to continuously deliver software and win in a software-led economy,” DeWitt added in the company’s announcement. “Audrey’s experience leading enterprise technology brands through periods of accelerated growth, as well as her shared values, make her the ideal addition to our existing leadership team and to the hive.”
