Airtable

Airtable has appointed former OpenAI leader David Azose as Chief Technology Officer to spearhead its next phase of AI-native transformation. Azose, who most recently led ChatGPT’s Business Products, brings extensive experience in building scalable, user-focused AI tools. Alongside his appointment, Airtable has acquired DeepSky, an AI superagent for complex research and analysis, reinforcing its evolution into a multi-product, AI-native company. Read More

xAI

xAI has appointed former Morgan Stanley banker Anthony Armstrong as its new CFO, a pivotal move amidst several high-profile executive departures. Armstrong, who previously advised Musk on the Twitter deal, will also oversee the finances of X, which merged with xAI in April. Read More

Thinking Machines Lab

Andrew Tulloch, co-founder of AI startup Thinking Machines Lab, has departed for Meta, following his previous work at OpenAI and Facebook’s AI Research Group. This move comes after reports of Meta's aggressive recruiting and an offer to acquire Thinking Machines Lab. The company, led by former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati, is now navigating the loss of a key co-founder. Read More

Nineteen-year-old Dhravya Shah, who previously sold a bot to Hypefury and interned at Cloudflare, has secured $2.6 million in seed funding for Supermemory, his AI memory startup. With backing from Google executives and other notable investors, Supermemory aims to solve the challenge of AI models struggling to retain context over multiple sessions by building a universal memory API for AI apps. Amazon Web Services (AWS) has appointed Chet Kapoor as VP of Security Services and Observability, underscoring its commitment to outstanding security as customer cloud environments grow more complex. Kapoor, formerly CEO of DataStax and Apigee, brings extensive experience in enterprise software and platform management to guide AWS's expanding security and operational oversight. Read More

Geico has appointed Arianna Orpello as its new CMO, effective January 2026. Orpello brings extensive financial services experience from Goldman Sachs, TD Bank, Capital One, and ING Direct, poised to elevate Geico's marketing capabilities. This move follows a period of transition for Geico, including a paused creative agency review, but comes after a strong Q2 2025 underwriting profit. Read More

Beverage and snack giant PepsiCo has named Steve Schmitt, former CFO of Walmart U.S., as its new Chief Financial Officer effective November 10. With deep expertise in managing complex supply chains and omnichannel operations, Schmitt is expected to drive growth and improve cost efficiency. The leadership change follows stronger-than-expected quarterly earnings, even as North American volumes remain soft and the company works to reignite organic sales. Read More

Emily Whittaker, formerly of VistaPrint, has been appointed CEO of personalized products e-commerce leader Shutterfly, succeeding Sally Pofcher. With 16 years of experience in commercial operations and marketing at VistaPrint and Cimpress, Whittaker is well-positioned to build on the company’s record growth. Under Whittaker’s leadership, Shutterfly aims to further accelerate its AI capabilities and elevate the customer experience. Read More

Vertiv has named longtime leader Scott Armul as its next Chief Product & Technology Officer, effective January 1, 2026. A veteran of the company since 2009, Armul will drive innovation and align technology with Vertiv’s growth strategy. His appointment follows the retirement of CTO Stephen Liang. Read More

365 Data Centers

365 Data Centers has promoted Derek Gillespie, formerly CRO, to CEO, marking its next phase of growth and strategic expansion. Steve Amelio will also serve as President while continuing as CFO, strengthening the company’s operational and financial leadership. The transition follows Co-Founder Bob DeSantis’s planned retirement and positions 365 Data Centers for continued momentum as a leading hybrid data center provider. Read More
