Mona Sutphen, who served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy under President Obama from 2009 to 2011, will be joining Spotify’s Board of Directors in April.

“I’m very much looking forward to joining the Spotify Board of Directors,” Sutphen said in a statement. “Spotify has been a revolutionary force and impressive innovator in the audio industry, transforming the content landscape globally.
