Workplace transparency company Glassdoor has filled three C-suite offices as its workplace transparency platform takes on an expanded role.
The new joiners are Chief Product Officer Andy Chen and CTO Rodrigo Oliveira, who are both new to Glassdoor, while the company’s new CFO, Owen Humphries, was an internal hire. The new executives have assumed their new roles effective immediately.
Chen joins Glassdoor after an 11-year career at Match Group, where she most recently led the company’s product innovation team. Olivera, on the other hand, joins Glassdor from WW, where he served as CTO.
"I'm thrilled to welcome Andy and Rodrigo, leaders whose vision and values align with Glassdoor, as well as promote Owen and continue to partner with him in his expanded role," Glassdoor CEO Christian Sutherland-Wong stated in a press release.
The trio take on their new roles on the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has given Glassdoor’s mission to bring transparency to the corporate world a whole new dimension.
"With the future of work evolving, Sutherland-Wong added, we have the right team in place to help us further innovate and deliver on Glassdoor's vision of bringing deeper transparency to workplaces everywhere.”
This past September, Glassdoor completed its acquisition of professional social network Fishbowl, giving Glassdoor expanded social features. Since the onset of the pandemic transparency platforms like Glassdoor and Fishbowl have become crucial spaces for workers to swap information and discuss sensitive internal happenings that would usually occur offline outside the reach of internal chat apps.
