Michael Stromer has been named Chief Product Officer, Technology at JetBlue Airways effective immediately. Stromer will be responsible for strategy and product oversight across all of the airline’s digital and IT products that are key to driving efficiency and cost savings in the airline’s operations.
Michael Stromer has been named Chief Product Officer, Technology at JetBlue Airways effective immediately. Stromer will be responsible for strategy and product oversight across all of the airline’s digital and IT products that are key to driving efficiency and cost savings in the airline’s operations.
Stromer joined JetBlue in 2007 and has held various roles with increasing responsibility across marketing and information technology. Most recently, Mr. Stromer was Vice President Tech Products where he led the airline’s customer and crewmember IT products including JetBlue’s digital transformation program. Prior to JetBlue, he was director of digital marketing at 1-800-Flowers. Stromer studied Business Management and Marketing at Binghamton University School of Management.
Mr. Stromer will report to Eash Sundaram, the airline’s Executive Vice President and Chief Digital & Technology Officer and will lead the design and execution of the digital commerce web and mobile applications that support revenue initiatives; technology for airport, customer support (reservations), system operations, technical operations, flight, and inflight teams, as well as back office products. Mr. Stromer will also have primary responsibility for the modernization of JetBlue’s customer sales and service (CSS) and system operations technology, across all crewmember- and customer-facing products.
