Every week we highlight a company leading the charge in transparency and making waves in their industry. This week we are featuring Frogslayer.
The Texas-based custom software development firm Frogslayer rescues mid-market companies from their old or buggy software systems and gives them a fully decked out, accelerated system that is validated and scalable. Founded in 2005 by Ross Wright and John Januskey, the results-driven company hired Ross Morel as CEO in 2012 to lead its efforts. What started as a way to combat the offshore outsourcing of software jobs in the early 2000s is now a top software consulting firm comprised of high-performing engineers, architects, testers, designers, and strategists determined to deliver solutions that work in under 12 months.
Intending to appeal to the next generation and equip them with the training required to become elite software engineers, the talent pool at Frogslayer attracted many A&M students and alums, which continues to create a rich culture of loyalty. The firm’s specialties include software prototyping, project rescue, software reengineering and modernization, etc. The software platform has serviced and partnered with big companies such as Best Buy, Microsoft, and Dunkin Donuts. On a mission, the team continues to target the oil, healthcare, and financial industries, making them smarter and safer for consumers.
