Executive Moves

Disney’s ABC News has lost its Head of Communications, Julie Townsend, who said she will depart on May 14. Townsend is leaving her post to lead global consumer communications at a yet-to-be-named company. Source | Full Story

Paramount Pictures has named Mika Pryce as its new SVP of Production starting April 26. Pryce joins from This Radicle Acts Productions, a production company owned by Don Cheadle. Source | Full Story

NBCUniversal said Tuesday that former Hulu exec Jim Denney will join the company as EVP and Chief Product Officer, Direct-to-Consumer for its streaming service, Peacock. Source | Full Story

WWE appointed Claudine Lilien as SVP and Head of Global Sales & Partnerships. Lilien previously held senior leadership roles across FOX Corp. Source

AT&T-owned WarnerMedia has consolidated Adult Swim and HBO Max’s adult animation development teams into one unit led by Suzanna Makkos. She now sports the title of EVP Original Comedy and Animation for HBO Max and Adult Swim. Source

Nielsen announced today the addition of Stephanie Plaines to the company's Board of Directors, effective April 21, 2021. She has also been appointed to the Board's audit committee as well. Source

Comcast’s advertising unit, Comcast Advertising, announced that it has appointed Rick Mandler as VP of Growth Strategy. Mandler previously served as trueX’s SVP of Strategy and Operations. Source

Clubhouse Media Group, an influencer-based marketing and media firm, added Perry Simon to its official Advisory Board. Mr. Simon is currently the President of independent production company Shore View Entertainment. Source

Workinman Interactive revealed that Roy Contreras has joined the company as the new CEO. Contreras previously held senior leadership roles at Nickelodeon and Amazon. Source

Kin has hired Shani Black Joins as Head of Programming & Development. Black was previously a Supervising Producer on Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith. Source

Sony TV-based production company Hot Sauce has named Inuka Bacote-Capiga as SVP Development and Production. Source

__Constantin Film__ has selected Richard S. Wright as SVP of Physical Production. Wright served for two decades as Head of Production at Lakeshore Entertainment. Source
