Executive Moves

TikTok hired Shou Zi Chew, ByteDance’s CFO, as its new CEO. Vanessa Pappas will become TikTok’s COO after serving as Interim CEO. Source | Full Story

Apple hired Samy Bengio as its new AI lead. Bengio was formerly a Google Brain scientist. Source | Full Story

Neuralink Co-Founder Max Hodak tweeted that he has stepped down from his position as President of the company on Saturday. Neuralink has not named a successor. Source | Full Story

VSCO appointed Eric Wittman as President. Wittman was previously Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Growth Officer at JLL Technologies. Source

Iron Mountain appointed Charlene Jackson as Global Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer. Jackson was previously the National Director of Affiliate Services at Girls Inc. Source

Micron promoted Sharawn Connors to Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. Connors was previously VP of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion. Source

PTC promoted Catherine Kniker to EVP and Chief Strategy Officer. Kniker was previously Global Head Corporate Development. Source

Accuray appointed Jean-Philippe Pignol as Chief Medical & Technology Officer. Prior to joining Accuray, Pignol was a Professor and Head of the Radiation Oncology Department at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Source

Broadway Technology promoted Claudia Cantarella to Chief Legal Officer. Cantarella was previously General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for the past eight years. Source

Zmags hired Ryan Breen as Chief Technology Officer, Paul Zymba as SVP, Customer Success and Justin McCoubry as VP of Marketing. Breen was previously the Director of API Management at Cimpress, Zumba held SVP roles at Medix and Veracode, and McCoubry led North American Marketing at Egress. Source

Iron Bow named Angie Stevens Chief Strategy Officer. Most recently, Stevens was the national leader for Telehealth/Virtual Care at Kaiser Permanente. Source

Cloudentity announced that Brook Lovatt Chief Product Officer. Source

Reltio announced David Kirven has joined the team as CMO. Kirven was previously SVP and General Manager at GoDaddy. Source

Software AG named Nicolas Betbeder-Matibet as SVP of Sales for Asia Pacific and Japan region. Betbeder-Matibet joined from Tibco where he led the company’s Asia business. Source
