Workplace Tech

RingCentral, a cloud-based communications and collaboration solutions for businesses, revealed that Anand Eswaran is stepping down from his role as President and COO, and that Chief Accounting Officer Vaibhav Agarwal will serve as the company’s Interim CFO effective Jan. 1, 2022.

Cresta, which uses AI to provide real-time coaching to help sales agents become better at their jobs, has named Jared Lucas as VP of People. Most recently, he served as the Chief People Officer at MobileIron.

Lucid Software, a visual collaboration software provider, hired Seamus Hennessy as CFO and Sean Goldstein as Chief Revenue Officer. The company also promoted Dan Lawyer to Chief Product Officer.

Drift, a conversational marketing platform, has promoted Katie Foote from SVP of Revenue Marketing to Chief Marketing Officer.

WeSpire, an employee experience technology provider for Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) initiatives, named Brandon Young as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

Weave, an all-in-one customer communication and engagement software platform for small businesses, selected Chris Baird as Chief Marketing Officer. Baird joins from ObservePoint, where he has served as CMO.

EngageSmart, a vertically focused software solutions provider for essential tasks and services, appointed Alan Canzano as EVP of Corporate Development and Strategy. He had previously been a Senior Director of Product Management at Salesforce.

Fintech

Kraken, a cryptocurrency exchange, named Pranesh Anthapur, a former VP at Uber, as its Chief People Officer.

Clair, a social fintech company, promoted its Head of Growth, Lance Katigbak, to Chief Revenue Officer.

cleverbridge, a global e-commerce solutions company providing billing and payment services, has selected Wendi Sturgis as its new CEO. She previously served as the CEO at Yext Europe.

VizyPay, payment technology solutions provider for small to midsize businesses, has hired Outhay Lovan as Chief Strategy Officer. Lovan is the former VP of HR Operations for Avail Processional Services and Assistant VP of Employee Engagement/Client Operations for Businessolver.

AppTech, a publicly traded payments and fintech company, has named Chad Nelley as its COO. He most recently worked as the EVP of Operations at ESET North America.

MoonPay, a payment infrastructure provider for crypto firms, named JD Milwood as VP of Growth. He previously was the VP of Growth at Curve.

InsurTech

LeaseLock, an insurtech platform for real estate, announced that Dana Columbo has joined the company as VP of Enterprise Sales, Southeast. Columbo previously served as Vice President of Sales at RentDebt Automated Collections.

Health Tech

SmileDirectClub, a dental medtech platform, announced the resignation of CFO Kyle Waile. The company has hired executive search firm Korn Ferry to find a new CFO with public company experience.

OneOncology, a national platform for independent community oncology practices, announced Andy Corts has joined the company as its CTO. Corts was most recently senior vice president of Research and Analytics for SignalPath.

HistoWiz, a digital histopathology services company, has hired Robert Kelley as VP of Sales and Marketing. He most recently was the VP of Sales and Marketing at Caliber ID.

E-Commerce

Vesta, an end-to-end transaction guarantee platform for online purchases, announced Nick Tostenrude as Chief Product Officer. He most recently served as General Manager for the Amazon Fraud Detector service at AWS.

Arteza, a direct-to-consumer e-commerce retailer, has picked Erick Haskell as its new CEO. Prior to joining Arteza, Haskell served as President of EMEA and APAC at PopSockets, as well as President of International at Allbirds.

CarGurus, an online automotive platform for buying and selling vehicles, announced it has hired Matt Quinn as its CTO. Before CarGurus, he was the VP of Engineering at Alignable.

Farmstead, an online grocer, announced that former Walmart and Ahold/Peapod executive John Shaw has joined as Head of Supply.

Ag Tech

IntellinAir, an aerial image analytics firm for the agriculture industry, has named Tim Hassinger as CEO & President of IntelinAir, Inc. and Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective January 3, 2022.

Media Tech

SiriusXM revealed that Disney’s Joseph Inzerillo has accepted an offer to become its new Chief Product & Technology Officer.

Connectivity

Boomi, an intelligent connectivity and automation venture, has appointed David Meredith as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 31, 2022. Meredith comes to Boomi from Everbridge, where he was CEO.

EdTech

GoGuardian, an education technology platform for K-12 schools, appointed former Google Senior Director of Engineering Jenny Zhao as its CTO.

Cybersecurity

Coalfire, a cyber risk management and compliance services provider, has hired Dennis Schumacher as CFO alongside the appointment of Chris Kloes as Chief Revenue Officer. Schumacher joins Coalfire from CompuCom Systems, where he served as CFO, while Kloes comes to Coalfire from Unisys.

Optiv, a cyber advisory and solutions provider, has tapped Jason Lewkowicz as SVP of Cyber Defense and Applied Security. He was previously the Global Chief Information Security Officer at Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Imperva, a cybersecurity company, has hired Marty Overman as its SVP for North America. Overman was most recently Regional Vice President, East Enterprise at Palo Alto Networks.

Transmit Security, an identity experience company, named Chris Kaddaras as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Kaddaras most recently served as the Chief Revenue Officer for Nutanix.

HackerOne, a hacker-powered security platform, appointed Chris Evans as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Hacking Officer. Evens previously worked at Google and helped create theGoogle Chrome security team and Google Project Zero security research team.

IT

BigPanda, an AIOps event correlation and automation company, has picked Fred Koopmans as its Chief Product Officer. Koopmans joins BigPanda from Cloudera, where he served as SVP of Product Management.

Codefresh, a GitOps software delivery platform for cloud-native apps, announced that Moran Goldboim will serve as its VP of Product. Moran most recently served as a Senior Principal Product Manager at Red Hat.

Acrolinx, an AI and NLP-driven enterprise content improvement and intelligence software provider, named Britta Mühlenberg as its Chief People Officer. Mühlenberg was previously the COO at Searchmetrics.

Navisite, a managed cloud service provider, has selected Jason Facer as CFO and Peter Salamanca as COO. Facer was previously the VP of Finance at Presidio and Salamanca was the VP of Cloud Services at Apps Associates.

Indico, a provider of Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) solutions, has hired Bob More as its Chief Revenue Officer. More was previously the Global Head of Field Operations for Stardog.

Cloudaction, IT automation and cloud consulting services provider, has hired Keith Hoskison as Chief Revenue Officer. He most recently was the VP of Global Strategic Accounts at Sprinklr.

Other

Matterport, a spatial data company, announced that Amy Hsueh has joined the company as VP of Corporate Development. Hsueh joins Matterport from Google where she led the development of the partnership ecosystem for Tensorflow.

Bright Machines, a software-defined manufacturing innovator, announced that Co-Founder and CEO Amar Hanspal will step down. Lior Susan, Co-Founder and Board Member, has been appointed as interim CEO.
