Workplace Tech

Gusto, an HR software startup, has hired Mike Taylor as its new CFO. Taylor is the former GitHub CFO and a former VP of Finance at Tesla.

Oyster, an HR platform for remote work, has named ex-Airbnb Head of Global Operations Strategy and Planning Amanda Greene as VP of Customer Experience.

MURAL, a provider of digital workspaces for guided visual collaboration, announced today the appointment of two C-suite executives, hiring Adolfo Chou as Chief Financial Officer and Jason Ing as Chief Marketing Officer.

Upwork, a work marketplace, picked Patrick Hedren as its VP and Global Head of Public Policy and Government Relations. Hedren joins Upwork from the National Association of Manufacturers, where he was a VP and Deputy General Counsel.

Forethought, a human-centered AI platform for customer service, hired Dave Ginsburg as the company’s first Chief Customer Officer. Most recently, he served as Chief Customer Officer at WorkBoard.

DaySmart Software, a provider of vertically-focused business management software, selected Jason Kirk as CTO. Most recently, he served as the CTO for REPAY.

Fintech

BitPay, a Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment services provider, announced Jim Lester as the company’s first COO. Lester previously served as the SVP of Product Management, Strategy, and Marketing in Fiserv's electronic billing and payments division.

BitMEX, a crypto investment platform, named Raphael Polansky as its new COO. Prior to joining BitMEX, Raphael was Managing Director at Blocknox.

Marqeta, a card issuing platform, has added Sunaina (Suni) Lob as its Chief Human Resources Officer. Lob joins Marqeta from Navis, where she was Chief People Officer.

UNest, a family-oriented fintech company, announced that Jon Walker has been appointed as President. Before joining UNest, Walker served on the leadership team at KPMG Spark.

Mogo, a digital payments company, selected Allan Smith as its Chief People Officer. Most recently, Smith served as a Senior Director at SoFi.

InsurTech

Oscar Health, a health insurance company built on a full-stack technology platform, announced that it has hired Ranmali Bopitiya as its new Chief Legal Officer. Ranmali joins Oscar from Everside Health, where she served as Chief Legal Officer

Health Tech

Quartet Health, a mental health platform, selected former Wellvana Health CEO Jay Meyers as its Chief Growth Officer.

Ed Tech

GoGuardian, an education technology company, named Sharad Gupta as its Chief Product Officer. Most recently, he led a global team of product managers, engineers, and machine learning (ML) scientists at Amazon.

E-Commerce

OfferUp, a local commerce platform, announced that Melissa Binde has been appointed as CTO. She most recently led Splunk’s cloud engineering business.

Leafly, an online cannabis discovery marketplace, announced that Jeff Oberlander will join as SVP of Engineering.

Transportation Tech

SkyThread, a blockchain-enabled data-network company providing error-free exchange of data among commercial aviation stakeholders, has named Jean-Marc Lemaitre as EVP of Customer Success.

SEA Electric, A global e-mobility technology company, appointed Phillip Tighe to the position of CFO. Tighe previously spent 35 years at Ford in a variety of senior finance positions.

Logistics Tech

DispatchTrack, a last-mile delivery platform, appointed Alex Buckley as General Manager of EMEA and Asia Pacific operations.

GoFor, a renewable delivery marketplace for same-day, last-mile deliveries of big and bulky items, has promoted Dillon McDonald from Chief Revenue Officer to President.

LocatorX, an innovative tracking technology provider, today announced that Andrew Briggs has been appointed Chief Innovation Officer.

Nuvocargo, a digital platform for US/Mexico trade, announced today that Lauren Burdick has joined the company as Head of People.

Cybersecurity

Bugcrowd, a crowdsourced cybersecurity venture, appointed Cecilia Parisi as VP of People and Places. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Human Resources at CREDO Mobile.

Onapsis, a cybersecurity and compliance company, appointed Denis Cashman as its CFO. Before joining Onapsis, he served as CFO of Affirmed Networks.

Commvault, a data protection and information management software company, has hired Danielle Sheer as its Chief Legal and Compliance Officer. Sheer was previously the General Counsel at Bottomline.

BedRock Systems, a software provider for secured computing hired Josh Dobies as VP of Products. Prior to joining BedRock, Dobies served as VP of Product Marketing at Riverbed Technology.

IT

Astreya, an IT managed services solution provider, selected Paul Baldwin as its VP of Sales. Baldwin previously was the Director of Business Development for Strategic Accounts at Seaborn Networks.

Reltio, a cloud-native, software-as-a-service (SaaS) data platform, has picked Steve Debenham as its Chief Legal Officer. Prior to joining Reltio, Debenham was Vice President and General Counsel for Telenav.

CoreLogic, a global financial, property and consumer information, analytics, and data-enabled solutions provider, has named Pat Dodd as its interim President & CEO.

Proptech

Divvy Homes, a proptech startup, announced that John Lee will join Divvy Homes as the company's new COO. Lee spent the last eight years as a Managing Director in Blackstone’s private equity group.

Xeal, a proptech company improving the affordablity and accessiblity of EV charging for building developers, has hired Eric Roseman to serve as its Chief Revenue Officer. Roseman was previously a VP at Lincoln Property Company.

Xeal also named Regan Hartley as VP of Sales. Before joining Xeal, Hartley had been the National Sales Director at Package Concierge.

Habi, one of the largest real estate technology companies in Latin America, appointed Marcos Kantt as its CFO. Marcos comes to Habi following a successful investment banking career.

Internet

AudioEye, a digital accessibility platform delivering website accessibility compliance, has appointed David Moradi as its CEO. Moradi is Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of First Contact Entertainment.
