Workplace Tech

Totango, a customer success platform, promoted its Chief Customer Officer and COO, Jamie Bertasi, to President and COO.

Paylocity, a cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions provider, promoted CFO Toby Williams to President and Co-CEO, effective immediately. The company also promoted SVP of Finance Ryan Glenn to replace Williams as CFO.

Fintech

EquityBee, an employee-focused stock options funding solution, announced it has appointed Mark Hassin as Chief Revenue Officer. He was previously the CRO at PayStand.

Melio, a B2B payments platform for small businesses, named Guy Zipori as its new VP of Research and Development. He most recently was the co-founder and CEO of Skyline AI.

Symbiont, an enterprise fintech company focused on blockchain technology, appointed Silvia Davi as its Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and Tom DeJarnette as its Chief People Officer.

CoinDesk, a crypto platform, selected Alan Campbell as its President of Data and Indices. Previously, he was Head of Product Management at Bloomberg Indices.

Bankjoy, a digital banking provider, hired André Jones as VP of Operations. Jones was previously the SVP of Client Operations for Health Recovery Solutions.

Motus, a reimbursement solutions provider for businesses, announced that Ryon Packer has joined the company as its first Chief Product Officer.

TrustToken, a startup building the protocol for global lending, hired Bill Wolf, the former President & CEO of Lobo Leasing as its Chief Investment Officer. The company also named Ryan Christensen as Chief Product Officer. Christensen is currently a board member of Narrative I/O.

Mogo, a digital payments and financial technology company, named Allan Smith as the Head of Carta Worldwide, Mogo’s digital payments subsidiary.

Health Tech

Clarius, a provider of high-definition wireless ultrasound systems, announced that former Zebra Medical Vision CEO Ohad Arazi has been appointed as President. Arazi will also transition into the role of CEO in the second half of 2022, succeeding company founder Laurent Pelissier, who will become Chief Innovation Officer.

Aptihealth, a virtual-first behavioral healthcare provider, selected Erin McGarry as its VP of Finance and Accounting. Most recently, McGarry served as CFO for Pembroke Hospital.

Zelis, a healthcare payments company, announced Heather Valteris will be its new Chief Marketing Officer. She joins Zelis from Cigna, where she served as the Chief Marketing Officer for International Markets.

Insurtech

At-Bay, a cyber insurance provider, hired Thomas Dekens as its Chief Strategy Officer. Most recently he was the VP of Strategy and Corporate Development at cybersecurity company Forescout.

Duck Creek Technologies, a global technology solutions provider to the property and casualty insurance industry, named Kevin Rhodes as its CFO, effective April 4, 2022. Prior to joining Duck Creek, Rhodes served as CFO of Finvi.

EdTech

GoGuardian, an education technology company promoted Kate Beihl to Chief Marketing Officer and hired Harris Goodman, a former SVP at Achieve3000, as General Manager of Content.

E-Commerce

Kaspien, an e-commerce marketplace growth platform, promoted its CFO, Brock Kowalchuk, to the position of interim CEO.

ChowNow, an online ordering and marketing platform for independent restaurants, hired Karene Tropen as Chief Marketing Officer. Tropen has held senior marketing roles at Disney+, Netflix, HBO, NBCUniversal, and most recently Medium.

Media Tech

Playtika, a mobile gaming company, named Dr. Jacob Mendel as the company's VP of Blockchain Technology. Prior to joining Playtika, Dr. Mendel led blockchain technology initiatives at Intel and most recently J.P. Morgan.

InfiniteWorld, a metaverse infrastructure platform, added Milica Zec to its executive team as Chief Metaverse Officer. Prior to joining InfiniteWorld, Zec co-founded New Reality Company where she served as Producer and Director of Mixed Reality & Metaverse.

Cybersecurity

1Password, a human-centric security leader, has appointed Katya Laviolette as its first Chief People Officer. Laviolette joins 1Password after building global human resources functions for companies such as SSENSE, TC Transcontinental, CBC/Radio-Canada and Bombardier.

Imperva, a comprehensive digital security company, named Dan Neault as SSVP and General Manager of the Data Security business unit. Neault joins from AWS, where he was the General Manager of AWS Database Migration Service and the founder of the Amazon Database Migration Accelerator.

SentinelOne, an autonomous cybersecurity platform company, promoted Mark Parrinello to Chief Sales Officer and Eran Ashkenazi to Chief Customer Officer, effective immediately.

IT

CrowdAI, a no-code platform to build customized vision AI, selected Keith E. Johnson as its Strategic Revenue Officer and Melanie Corcoran as its Federal Advisor.

Yext, an AI search company, revealed that Michael Walrath, the Chairman of the Yext Board of Directors since 2011, has been named CEO and Chairman. Yext also named its Chief Accounting Officer, Darryl Bond, as its CFO. Each will begin their new roles on March 25.

Connectivity

Quantum Xchange, a quantum fiber network, named Dr. Vincent Berk as its Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer. Berk comes to Quantum Xchange from Riverbed Technologies, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Security Architect.

Aerospace

Lockheed Martin named John Clark as the VP and General Manager of the Advanced Development Program also known as SkunkWorks. Clark most recently served as the company’s VP of Engineering and Technology.
