Workplace Tech

Cornerstone, an adaptive HR solutions provider, hired Carina Cortez as its Chief People Officer. Cortez was most recently the Chief People Officer at Glassdoor.

simPRO, a provider of business management software for the trades, announce that Laura Theodore joined the company as its first Chief Customer Officer. Theodore brings experience leading services, customer success and operations teams at SaaS companies.

Fintech

Flutterwave, Africa’s leading payments technology company, appointed former Goldman Sachs Managing Director Gurbhej Dhillon as its new CTO.

Gate.io, a cryptocurrency exchange named Tom Yang, a former Google and WeWork executive, as its new EVP.

Amber Group, a global digital asset platform, hired Benjamin Bai as its Chief Legal Officer. Bai joins from Ant Group where he served as its VP and Chief Intellectual Property (IP) and International Litigation Counsel.

PitchBook, a data provider for the private and public equity markets, hired Mary Cadera as its Chief of Staff. Most recently, she was the Interim Managing Director of ACT theatre in downtown Seattle.

Roostify, a mortgage and home equity lending technology provider, recruited Nadia Aziz as its COO. Prior to joining Roostify, Nadia served as General Manager of Opendoor Home Loans.

Insurtech

Zywave, an insurtech provider, selected Paul Rybecky as its CFO. Rybecky was most recently the CFO of PointClickCare.

eHealth, an online private health insurance marketplace, appointed Gavin Galimi as SVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He most recently served as General Counsel for UnitedHealthcare Specialty Benefits.

Health Tech

Iterative Scopes, a pioneer in precision-medicine technologies for gastroenterology, selected Laura Mantell as its VP of Life Sciences. Prior to joining Iterative Scopes, Mantell led the digital health team at Ribbon Health.

Kipu Health, the provider of a cloud-based electronic medical records system developed specifically for addiction treatment centers, named Srini Chillara as its CTO. He previously served as the VP of Software Development at Experian Health.

EdTech

Stride, a provider of tech-enabled education solutions, promoted Donna Blackman from Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer to CFO.

Media Tech

Skillz, a mobile games platform, hired Jason Roswig as its President and CFO. Roswig will join the company on August 8, 2022 from Blackstone, where he served as Managing Director.

Cybersecurity

OneSpan, a digital agreements security company, hired Michael Lillie as its Chief Information Officer. Most recently, Lillie was the CIO at Qlik.

BreachLock, a unified penetration testing as a service platform appointed Marielle Nigg-Droog as its Chief Information Security Officer. Nigg-Droog was previously the CISO at ING Wholesale Banking.

IT

Amplitude, a pioneer in digital optimization, appointed Thomas Hansen as its first President. Hansen most recently served as UiPath’s Chief Revenue Officer.

Appian, a low-code automation platform, appointed former Accenture and McKinsey & Company executive Susan Charnaux as its Chief People Officer. The company also hired AWS leader Sanat Joshi as SVP of Industry Products and Solutions.

Precisely, the global leader in data integrity, announced that Anna Langhorne has been appointed Chief Privacy Officer. Prior to joining Precisely, Langhorne was Global Data Privacy Counsel at Regeneron.

Sourcepass, a digital IT services firm, named Mike Riley as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Most recently, Riley was the founder and President of The Riles Group, a marketing and sales advisory firm focused on PE and SMBs.

AgileThought, a provider of digital transformation services, custom software development and next-generation technologies, appointed Gonzalo Mones Cazon as its Chief People Officer. He was most recently Head of People at Wildlife Studios.

Ignitho Technologies, a data science and digital engineering company, named Ramesh Ramaswamy as its Chief Delivery Officer.

Code Ocean, the developer of a computational-research laboratory cloud platform, selected former NVIDIA leader Andy Keane as its COO.

Internet

Nextbite, a leader in virtual restaurant solutions, announced that Denny Marie Post, the former CEO of Red Robin, joined the company as co-President.

Connectivity

DriveNets, a leader in cloud-native, disaggregated networking solutions, hired James Morgan as SVP of Sales for Europe, Ryan Donnelly as SVP of Infrastructure and John Sweeney as EVP of Sales for the Americas.

Legal Tech

Archer, a provider of integrated risk management solutions, announced the appointment of Anindo Banerjea as its CTO. Most recently, Banerjea was EVP of Engineering at MetricStream.

MetricStream, the global market leader in integrated risk management (IRM) and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), announced that Gaurav Kapoor and Prasad Sabbineni have been appointed as co-CEOs. Kapoor was previously MetricStream’s COO and Sabbineni served as MetricStream’s CTO.
