Founded in 2012, OfferUp has grown to be one of the largest mobile marketplaces in the United States. The company has raised over $382M since its genesis, and last year, it combined with letgo, an app that allows users to buy and sell used items, increasing its userbase to over 56 million people.
"OfferUp has a strong culture of innovation and user-focused decision making, and I'm looking forward to working closely with Nick and his team to continue to build on their current success,” Dunlap said in a press release.
Dunlap has previously served as Managing Director for Booking.com’s North American chapter. From 2007 to 2012 he was the VP and COO of Consumer & Online at Microsoft. Dunlap currently sits as a board member for education platform developer Better Collective.
“When I met Todd, I knew that he was the right leader to help us realize the vision I had when I started OfferUp and that his leadership and experience will help our company achieve its full potential," Huzar said.
