Unqork has appointed Philip Lacor as Chief Revenue Officer as it continues to scale and expand its global footprint.
Lacor’s decades of experience leading global enterprise sales organizations will be crucial to the enterprise no-code platform as it chases after a large slice of the $500 billion that enterprise organizations spend coding software efforts each year.
Another major aspect of Lacor’s role will be the implementation of a new pricing model. As Insider notes, the Unqork is currently working on a new model with a single license that is tailored for engineering teams. It currently charges customers per app built.
He joins the company from Envoy, where he served as the workplace technology platform’s CRO. He also has experience growing teams and revenues at both Dropbox and Dell.
“This is a pivotal moment for Unqork,” CEO Gary Hoberman stated. “As we look to rapidly scale our operations to meet the demand we are seeing for Unqork, Philip’s experience will greatly help us capture this massive opportunity.”
Unqork is currently looking to continue its rapid 2020 growth, in which it increased its headcount by more than 100%, from 165 to over 350. It also expanded into EMEA markets and raised $207 million in a Series C funding round.
