Tarek Mouganie

Tarek Mouganie, PhD, is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience across various sectors. As the Founder and Group CEO of Affinity Africa since 2013, Tarek transitioned the company from a consultancy to a holding entity after acquiring a Microfinance bank in Ghana. Tarek's leadership roles include serving as a Tutu Fellow, a Yale World Fellow, and a Chapter Member of YPO. Tarek also founded the private members club Front/Back Accra and holds advisory board positions with the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair and serves as a board member at Greene Light Stage PLC. Additionally, Tarek contributes to the academic community as an MBA Tutor at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Tarek co-founded the Ghana Triathlon Federation and held a director position at Man Group. Tarek earned a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Imperial College London.
