Brett Gappmayer

Brett Gappmayer has extensive work experience in finance and tax. Brett started their career at KPMG Peat Marwick as a Tax Manager in 2002 and worked there until 2007. In 2007, they joined 1-800 CONTACTS as the Director of Tax and held this role until 2013. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Black Diamond Equipment as the Vice President of Tax. Brett then returned to 1-800 CONTACTS, where they held various positions including Vice President Tax and Treasurer, VP Finance and Treasurer, Interim Chief Financial Officer, and VP Finance, Purchasing & FP&A. Since 2019, they have been serving as the Chief Financial Officer at 1-800 CONTACTS.

Brett Gappmayer earned a Master of Accountancy - Tax Emphasis degree from Brigham Young University between 1997 and 2002.
