Joseph Hoyal

Joseph Hoyal is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and Agile coaching. Currently serving as a Delivery Coach Lead and Software Engineer IV at 1-800 CONTACTS since April 2017, Joseph has driven significant process improvements, achieving an 80% reduction in development lead time and a 197% increase in deployment frequency. With prior roles at NCR Corporation, uGenius, and Crump Life Insurance Services, Joseph has demonstrated expertise in automated testing, team leadership, and Agile methodologies. A graduate of Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems, Joseph has developed self-guided learning curricula, organized training workshops, and mentored teams to enhance technical practices and improve team productivity and culture.
