Shawn Smith

Shawn Smith has a long and varied work experience. Shawn started in 1990 as Director of Sales for Century Analysis, Inc. Shawn then moved to Healthdyne Information Enterprises / Healthcare Communications, Inc. in 1994, where they served as Vice President - Domestic Sales and designed the healthcare industry's first interface engine. In 1998, they became Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CyberPlus Corporation / Health Language and managed the acquisition of a global company with an Emergency Department clinical system. In 2000, they became Vice President of Business Development for Eclipsys Corporation, leading domestic and international Business Development efforts. In 2002, they founded Emergency Visions, a software automation company providing Governments, Humanitarian Aid Organizations, and Corporations with a secure, easy-to-use, cloud and mobile-based Disaster Resource Management solution. In 2015, they became President of MD1, Inc., providing "end-to-end" technology and service solutions for healthcare organizations. In 2016, they became President of Care1, Inc., providing exceptional Clinical Services and Technology Solutions for Post-Acute, Transitional, Rehabilitative, and Geriatric Care. Shawn also became Chief Executive Officer of Xenesta International, Inc., a company with an International Community focused on Life Transformation. Finally, in 2019, they became Chief Executive Officer of 1 True Health, Inc., a company focused on giving patients control over their medical data.

Shawn Smith attended Wooster School from 1980 to 1983 and Rice University from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a BA in Managerial Studies/Behavioral Science/History.
