Adriano Capitanelli

Adriano Capitanelli has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Adriano started their career in 2011 at MLP as a Legal Consultant, where they handled legal matters related to EPC contracts for photovoltaic parks in Italy and Romania. Adriano also worked on sponsorship agreements for car and bike racing teams and oversaw arbitration acts and awards for the Italian football and rugby federations. After MLP, they worked at the European Commission as an Assistant Energy Policy Officer from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they played a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing research, comparative analysis, and reports on various EU projects. Adriano demonstrated expertise in monitoring the development of the German coal exit commission and also created a project database for the Coal Regions in Transition. Adriano actively participated in meetings to negotiate legislation on electricity. In 2019, they joined Università Telematica Pegaso Italia as a University Tutor, where they provided academic support to students. Currently, they are working at 1000Farmacie as Head of Service, a position they have held since April 2020. Adriano is responsible for leading the Key Account Management (KAM) team.
