Maria Nobre

Maria Nobre has extensive experience in the field of education, specializing in special education and financial literacy. As the Special Education Department Head at Keaau Elementary School since July 2015, Maria has been responsible for writing and implementing individualized programs for students with special needs, ensuring appropriate accommodations and curriculum modifications. In addition to this role, Maria serves as a Certified Instructor at 101 Financial, providing financial education focused on smarter banking, budgeting, credit building, and debt elimination since February 2009. Maria is also a Director at doTERRA International LLC, where essential oils are distributed, and holds certification as an Aroma Touch Therapist. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Special Education from Capella University and a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Brigham Young University–Hawaii, among other degrees. Maria’s commitment to education and community service is further exemplified by prior roles within the Department of Education Hawaii and the Boy Scouts of America.
