Damian Kelley

Damian Kelley is a seasoned professional in the field of biotechnology with extensive experience in DNA sequencing and instrumentation development. Currently serving as Director at 10x Genomics since September 2022, Damian previously held the position of Associate Director of Engineering at Illumina from October 2001 to September 2022, where responsibilities included strategic product planning and management of product design and release. Earlier in their career, Damian worked as Detection Coordinator at the Broad Institute from October 1997 to August 2000, overseeing sequencing activities and validating new sequencing technologies. Damian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Genetics from Saint Michael's College, attained in 1996, and is a graduate of Xavier High School.
