Logan A. Morrison

Logan A. Morrison is a Senior Computational Biologist at 10x Genomics since August 2022, following a previous role as a Computational Biologist at the University of California, Santa Cruz from September 2015 to August 2022. During time at the University, Logan led research projects focusing on dark matter, employing machine learning techniques to discover new physics and developing software for dark matter model exploration. Logan’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, alongside a Master of Science in Physics from the same institution and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Western Washington University. Prior experience includes research assistant roles studying organic field-effect transistors and charge transport in semiconducting polymers at Western Washington University and tutoring in math and physics at Whatcom Community College.
