Mio Tonouchi

Mio Tonouchi is an accomplished marketing professional with significant experience in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Marketing for APAC at 10x Genomics since September 2018, Mio previously held the position of Director of Marketing at both Pacific Biosciences and Illumina, where a diverse range of leadership roles encompassed strategic marketing and operations across the Asia Pacific region. Earlier career achievements include roles at Agilent Technologies as a Senior Application Scientist and a researcher position at the University of Waterloo. Mio holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi and an exchange MBA in Marketing from ESSEC Business School, complemented by an M.Sc. in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo.
