Tom V. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2015, they worked as an Auteur at In de Hekken until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they were an Online Marketeer at WebdesignTilburg, where they gained experience in search engine optimization, social media, and conversion optimization. Tom also had an internship as a Stagiair online marketing at WebdesignTilburg, where they worked on various projects using platforms such as Wordpress, Magento, Hootsuite, Facebook, and Mailchimp. In 2017, Tom worked as a Klantenservicemedewerker at CZ, assisting customers with inquiries about insurance claims and providing customized advice. Tom also worked as an Afstudeerstage at New Heroes during the same year. In 2019, they became a Junior online marketeer at Halfords NL, responsible for maintaining and optimizing their Magento webshop and managing online marketing channels. Currently, Tom is a Content Specialist at 10XCREW, where they develop and implements content strategies, conducts keyword analyses, monitors performance, and optimizes product listings on various European marketplaces.
Tom V. began their education in 2009 at Peellandcollege Deurne, where they obtained their HAVO degree in Economics and Society in 2013. Tom then attended Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Communication with a specialization in SPECO Sport Communication. In 2015 to 2016, Tom pursued a minor in English language and culture at Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
In 2018, they enrolled in the Premaster Communication and Information Sciences program at Tilburg University, which they completed in 2019. From 2019 to 2020, Tom pursued a Master's degree in Business Communication and Digital Media at Tilburg University.
In addition to their formal education, Tom obtained a certification in Google Analytics for beginners from Google in November 2019.
