Daniel Kefer

Daniel Kefer is an experienced IT security professional with over 18 years in the field. Currently serving as the Head of IT Security and Head of Application Security at 1&1 Mail & Media Applications SE since March 2016, Daniel has a robust background in developing secure software development life cycle methodologies, conducting security consultancy, and managing security projects. Prior experience includes roles as Senior IT Security Engineer and IT Security Engineer at 1&1 Internet AG, where Daniel focused on security consultancy and vulnerability management. Additionally, Daniel held senior consultancy positions at AEC, spol. s r.o., leading significant security projects across various sectors, and started the career with roles at Cleverlance and Simelon, enhancing technical skills in security and network support. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Brno University of Technology.
