Michael Meier has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Michael started their career in 1992 at Deutsche Telekom AG as a Techniker. From 1998 to 2000, they worked at VEW Telnet as a Servicetechniker. Following that, they joined Completel / Versatel in 2000 and worked as a NOC Technician for ten years. In 2010, they transitioned to 1&1 Versatel and held various roles, including Teamleader Monitoring & Incident Management, Head of Service Management, and currently serves as the Head of Service & Support Management.

From 1993 to 1997, Michael Meier attended Fachschule für Technik Kemnastr. (Recklinghausen) where they obtained a degree in Elektronik as a staatl. gepr. Techniker.
